A Spotlight-like launcher for learning languages. Double-tap ⌘, type what you mean, and get natural ways to say it, in either direction. Or explore a word in example sentences.
Morirse de hambre is the everyday way to exaggerate hunger, just like starving.
Write what you mean and get five natural ways to say it, each with a note on tone, or paste
something to get it back in yours. Wrap a word in **double asterisks** to see how it's said.
Type a word or an expression in the language you're learning and see it used in example sentences, from its most common use to the least, each with a simple translation.
Answers in the language you're learning can be read aloud by a macOS voice. Pick a voice for each language in Settings, then press ⌘↵.
Press ⇧↵ to turn an answer into a flashcard through AnkiConnect, with a deck for each language you're learning. The card plays the phrase aloud and keeps the bold words.
Your last answers wait under the modes, so closing the launcher by mistake costs nothing. Asking the same thing again is instant, straight from the cache.
Turn on Real Time Mode and it detects the language you type in, then picks the translation for you: yours to the one you're learning, or back.
The launcher opens on top of whatever you're doing, just like Spotlight, in the language and mode you used last.
↑↓ picks the language (add as many as you're learning), ←→ the mode: translate either way, or explore a word. Or let Real Time Mode pick them.
Pick an answer, press ↵ to copy it, and you're back to work.
